This guide assumes you have a basic Q3 installation.
1) First you will need to update the base game with the latest point release, found HERE.
2) The MOD of choice for SlashQuit.net Servers - CPMA 1.46.
You now have a Q3 install which can play CPMA 1.46 - with game modes (CPM and VQ3) - 1v1 / TDM and CTF.
You need maps for these specific game modes (CTF maps and custom 1v1 and TDM maps). You will also need the CPM Map Pack if you wish to play the CPM game type on its "standard" maps. If you dont wish to play this (CPM is not the CPL mod, VQ3 is - You do not require this pack).
- OSP map pack
- CPM map pack (need to unzip)
We have also added a map archive which contains all the pk3 files you will need to play on ALL the SlashQuit.net servers. As before, If you dont wish to play CTF - you do not require the CTF maps.
- map directory
Important: All downloads are pk3 files. If you do not have file extensions turned on in Windows, they may look like .zip files.
DO NOT EXTRACT .PK3 FILES. SIMPLY COPY THE .PK3 FILE TO YOUR BASEQ3 DIRECTORY

so that whenever some cunt asks you what games you have installed you can open up the folder and point to it or do a directory list for them or whatever. :D
