Don't bother with UrT. Most of the 10 or so Australian servers are full. Only about 18 slots each server for 8v8 with 2 spare. 7 days a week kinda too much fun. Guess slashquit need there sleep =p

I tried to play freeze on that nz server recently. I get a constant 200 ping. I was playing some shitcunt that I was just about winning against, and I'd never played the map either.

HAHAHA.. you aussies arent all that.. you guys hosted a freeze competition, and the NZ team blistered almost every AUS team, but we lost the final thanks to a stubborn bunch of pricks refusing to play on NZ servers or reschedule (we pinged 100-150, they pinged 20-30.. although, it went 2 games to 1, aussie low pingers ftw hey? LOL GGs)..
Sure you aus's have the market on CPM\RA3, we dont have enough players to provide environments with any decent competition.. but freeze, we have the strength on that (even with our 6/1 - noob/decent player ratio lol :D)
Any of you who would like to challenge this claim, come over to NZ freeze server, and own us "shit cunt nzers", oh no wait, you cant actually do that?! HAHA

we all know the hate between NZ & Aus as far as q3 goes.. But for the sake of playing in a q3 comp no matter the mod why dont people just neck up and make some teams. freeze is pretty fun when you get into it :)

its played sorta similar to tdm, really, and its heaps fun. prolly requires more thinking than ra3, at the very least :p
but dilusion, you're mistaken if you think nx and stuff could possibly win in any mod, including freeze, against the better aussie clans. i've played against both, trust me, competition in aus is waaaaaayyyyy higher. freeze isnt so different to tdm, just a hell of a lot more noob friendly, and we have some decent tdm'ers here.
as for your challenge to come over and own nz fellas in freeze, well, when i played i used to do it all the time. and i doubt anyone in australia even thinks im good :p

the rules will be similar to those on the clan arena pub server, but a bit more 'comp' (retain weapons and armour between rounds, bodies don't thaw between rounds). open to suggestions for maps.

freeze with ca doesnt work very well, and with those maps as well .... really overcrowded and everyone just spams rockets

The maps they run on the CA server are pretty small for the qty of players it gets.. Maps like 6++ etc are sweet for it imo

The reason the server list is so small at the moment is because the 2 boxes (GS1 and GS4) that normally run Q3 are down.
Currently GS2 is running the servers.
