ETF cup 2008

Mulletman, 01:39pm 12th January go to enemy territory

ETF is a totally free "Team Fortress" mod for the popular free shooter "Wolfenstein Enemy Territory" and more info and download links can be found on PlanetETF.com

Latest news from the ETF Community is huge and we need some support on this! From the Kindergarten Gaming site http://etfcup.kgaming.eu/...................

» ETF is not dead! KinderGarten is organizing a compact double elimination cup
to be held in February. This means that all clans will get to play at least 2 games. The cup schedule will be
flexible to get as many games played as possible but our aim is to get all games to be played during
February. Default team size is 8, 6vs6 is allowed if both sides agree. The use of ringers is allowed.
The cup admins will provide two gameservers, one from Germany and one from Finland. The clans are of course
welcome to use their own servers in case they have one.

» New players are also very welcome. You can ask around #kgather if any of the teams need more players.
If you are new to the game, you can download all the needed files from the kgaming website.
There are also ETF tutorials available at http://www.kindergartengaming.eu/tutorials. Don't be afraid to
ask for help on #kgather if you have any problems with installing the game or with the gameplay.

» Remember to sharpen your skills by playing ETF gathers. The easiest way to do this is to type !add on #kgather.
The channel is showing more activity once again after the holidays so hopefully we'll get the gathers running
regularly again. If you have never played an ETF match before, it is a good idea to watch some demos from
clanwars before you start. You can easily find these from http://www.challenge-tv.com/index.php?mode=demos&game=45.

» Now it's time to get your old clans active or just gather your friends and join the fun! To participate,
contact Moose or Killah on #kgather @ quakenet. If this first cup is succesful, our plan is to hold similar
events after the first cup is over.
