You should have an etqw lan comp instead of the 1000$ art comp lol.

ETQW is a definite starter with cash - but wont be formally added until we know the game is released or we hear from activision, or Splash damage at Reloaded HQ.

I was at Big Day In.. but gaming just doesn't have that same appeal to fly down to SA any more...

The event wont get half as many people as it would if it was held in Melbourne or Sydney.

no offense but thats a load of crap.

Adelaide and perth have had several 500+ events over the last couple of years, and the largest event in Melbounre or Sydney in the same period has been 300 person events. Note that Fusion LAN in melbourne had a 500 person BYOC cancelled for lack of interest.

C&C 3 is likely to be included, i havent finalised the comp list yet - these are just the currently confirmed ones.

I went to a 700+ person WALAN a while back. There are always heaps of big LAN's outside of the usual suspects.

Sydney LAN's are DEAD. Look at MPU and SGL. Look at what happened to the Melbourne LAN's. 'Money money money' - bunch of wannabe progamers.

SA and WA actually have several LAN's on a regular basis.

Damn right, incog. Ive only been to a couple, but Valhalla always impresses, especially with the incredible Corkscrew DMs that go down. Awesome people, awesome venue, awesome organisation, just great all round.

Running the Q3 servers/tournaments at Big Day In was one of the best times I've had in aus competitive gaming. Unfortunately I don't understand why we continue to have big competitions in states where a domestic flight costs an arm and a leg =

Still GL to everyone who goes for the Q3 competition, there should hopefully be some good matches.

The Adam Internet Reloaded Festival 2008, and its major partners Thermtaltake and the SOuth Australian LAN Association are pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for this event.

Outlets

Tickets are now available from all Gametraders stores in the adelaide metro region, as well as a number of locations in the city of Adelaide. Tickets will also be available from various LAN events across Adelaide from September 22nd. A complete list of the dates and times is available here: http://www.reloadedlan.com/r3/index.php?topic=447.0. All tickets purchased from these locations are cash transactions only.

Location, date and time

The Adam Internet Reloaded Festival will be held at the Adelaide Showground, on Saturday January 26th, and will start at 11am. The event will finish at 7pm on the Sunday.

Costs

Tickets to the event will cost $30 for competititors, and $10 for spectators. Spectator tickets must be bought on the day of the event, but are unlimited. Persons competing in the Ballistic Digital Art Competition, but not wishing to attend will be required to pay the $10 entry cost via Direct Debit.

Tickets purchased via direct debit will incur a $4.00 fee for postage and handling. Direct debit facilities are not available at this time, but should be by the end of this week. Reloaded apologises for the delays. All people purchasing via direct debit must email wookie@reloadedlan.com with the information and a screenshot of the transaction. The title of the email must state "Reloaded ticket pruchase".

Entry will be free for sponsors and exhibitors who have the correct identification. These must be arranged prior to the event, and can be done by emailing committee@reloadedlan.com.

Registration

It is essential that all ticket holders requiring a seat in the Thermaltake LAN Party register at www.reloadedlan.com. There are limited seats available.

Pre-tournament registration is essential for all team competitions, and this will be available on www.reloadedlan.com in coming weeks.

All electrical appliances must be tested and tagged before they can be plugged into the power at the venue. In Adelaide, certified Reloaded staff will be visiting local lan events to perform such testing from sometime in October. Participants are reminded that no UPS's or Subwoofers are permitted at the event.

Catering

We are unable to order in pizza or redbull or such that people may be used to. More information as it comes to hand.

Security

Security will be on site 24 hours a day during the event.
